When adding a toolbar to the Custom Menus environment, verify that the toolbar is enabled for that environment. The toolbar can be displayed or hidden in the Custom Menus mode with a setting in Preferences.

1. In Design mode, open Preferences.
2. Select the Application category.
3. Select the Options sub-category.
4. Check/uncheck the Custom Menus checkbox to display/hide the toolbar when in Custom Menus mode.
