Example of a client having five 4D Write licenses.
When using 4D Write with five licenses in a Client/Server scenario, the 4D Write licenses are available to the first five users who log in. This is the default behavior. To manage the 4D Write access to particular users, you can use a password policy. You will need to set up a separate group using the password system and assign the group privileges to use 4D Write.
If the same five people are going to be using 4D Write, to the exclusion of others, this is easy to establish. If, however, you wish any five to be able to use 4D Write, you should let them know that they can log in into the "4D Write group" only when they are planning to use 4D Write.
