By default, 4D View 2004 displays cells in a table that is 65535 rows by 2048 columns. Along with being the default, this is also the maximum size of a single spreadsheet. If you would like to reduce this number, you can do so by selecting Preferences... from the 4D View File menu. In the "Worksheet Size" area, you can enter in the desired amount of rows and columns.
