4D provides the ability to execute a method from the User environment, from the 'Special' menu. In 4D v6.5, the method execution dialog box includes two new options:

• An execute pop up menu
  
• A debug button
  

The pop up allows the execution of a method locally or on 4D Server. The debug button allows the method to execute in trace mode.
