Tech Tip: Temporarily deactivating grid "snapping" within the ruler
PRODUCT: 4D Write | VERSION: 2004 | PLATFORM: Mac & Win
Published On: September 25, 2006

4D Write's ruler allows end users to move tab markers to any location. By default, dragging the markers across the ruler snap to a grid set to 0.25 cm (1/8 of an inch or 10 pixels). If you would like to be more precise on the location of your tabs, you can deactivate the grid "snapping" by holding down the Command key (Mac OS) or the Ctrl key (Windows) while dragging the tab markers across the ruler.
