Tech Tip: Assigning a Detail form to a double-clickable subform in the form editor
PRODUCT: 4D | VERSION: | PLATFORM: Mac & Win
Published On: February 4, 2000

When you define a double-clickable subform in the form editor, you can quickly assign a detail form to it without having to define it in either the Object Properties dialog or the Property List.

To assign it, drag the detail form from the explorer window to the subform in the form editor while pressing the SHIFT key. You can redefine it at any time using the same method.
