If you are using 4D Insider with the "Open on 4D server..." option to access a database running on 4D Server, you might get the message, "The 4D Insider version and 4D Server version do not match". This message refers to the fact that the version of Insider is not compatible with the version of 4D Server.

If you get this error message, you must change to a version of Insider that is compatible with the version of 4D Server. For example, 4D Insider 6.5.2 is compatible with 4D Server 6.5.4 and 4D Insider 6.5.3 is compatible with 4D Server 6.5.5.
