There are two different pieces of the 4D Web 2.0 Pack 1.0. This Tech Tip explains what is needed to deploy each piece.

4D Ajax Framework is deployed in a manner highly dependant upon 4D Web Server. Basically, it can be implemented in any situation that a 4D Web Server license can be deployed.

4D Live Window is a plug-in and as such is deployed in a manner similar to other 4D plug-ins such as 4D Write and 4D View. The exception is that once you have purchased the initial 4D Web 2.0 Pack 1.0 product there are no further charges for the 4D Live Window license.

To deploy a 4D Ajax Framework application, you need either (a), (b), (c), or (d):

(a) A 4th Dimension Standard Edition License and a 4D Web Server License associated to it.
(b) A 4D Runtime Single User License and a 4D Web Server License associated to it.
(c) A 4D Server (Runtime, Developer, Standard) License and a 4D Server Web Server License associated to it.
(d) A 4D Server (Runtime, Developer, Standard) License and a 4D Client Web Server License associated to it.

To deploy a 4D Live Window application you need either (a), (b), (c), or (d):

(a) A 4th Dimension Standard Edition License.
(b) A 4D Runtime Single User License.
(c) A 4D Runtime (Sponsored or Professional) Volume License.
(d) A 4D Server (Runtime, Developer, Standard) License.
