Tech Tip: Active objects in the header area of a list form

NOTE: This tech tip is applicable to version 6.5.x only

With version 6.5, the ability to place some active objects in the header area of list forms was added. This feature applies only to list forms when they are used in the Custom Menus environment except for subforms. The active objects that can be used must be clickable and non-enterable.

The following object types can be used:


  • All Button types
  • Pop-up/drop-down lists, hierarchical pop-up menus and picture pop-up menus
  • All radio button types
  • All check box types
  • Thermometers, rulers and dials
