PLEASE NOTE: This Tech Tip applies to 4D Web 2.0 Pack version 1.0

On Mac OS X 4D Live Window can display PDF documents without the need for additional browser plug-ins. However, when Acrobat Reader is installed only Safari is allowed to call Acrobat Reader to display PDFs. Other applications using the Safari engine, such as 4D Live Window, are not able to display PDFs.

To disable Adobe Acrobat Reader and to enable 4D Live Window to view PDFs remove the following file:

Note: This will disable the Adobe PDF plug-in in Safari as well.
