Sometimes when importing from an Excel spreadsheet, the last row will not be imported. This is because Excel does not automatically add a carriage return to the last row of data in a spreadsheet. It must be added manually before importing the spreadsheet into 4D. If the carriage return is not present, 4D will not consider the last row in the spreadsheet to be a valid record and will not import it. To prevent this from happening, simply open the spreadsheet in Excel first, click on the cell at the intersection of the last column of the last row, and press the Return key.
