Performing a series of modifications to objects in a 4D Draw area will go faster if you turn off screen updating for the area. Then instead of redrawing the screen after each modification, all the modifications can be made first, then the screen updating can be turned back on, and the area will only be drawn once. Screen drawing is a time-consuming operation that you do not want to do any more often than you have to.

To turn screen updating off or on, use the 4D Draw " DR SET UPDATE MODE" command.
