Pictures can also be edited within the picture library. There is a picture editor available that allows you to draw lines, arcs, circles, text etc within the picture library to create graphics. Multiple frame pictures ban be created that allow animation: within the Object Properties palette you define the start and end frames and time delay and 4D loops through the Images in turn. This can be used to animate buttons that 'click' when passed over or have animated thermometer type objects on a form.
