Normally the certificate authority sends SSL certificates via email. Once received the contents of the email are copied and then pasted into a text file which is then saved as "cert.pem". During this copy and paste procedure, some hidden or extra characters may also be added at the end of each line, which may cause the certificate to become invalid. The following video shows a procedure to ensure that there are no hidden or extra characters within the certificate.
