PRODUCT: 4D | VERSION: 2004 | PLATFORM: Mac & Win
Published On: August 22, 2007
When running a spell check in 4D, you can add unrecognized words. But suppose you accidentally add a word that you want to remove. How do you undo it?
The file that we need is located in one of these default folders:
Windows - C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\4D\
Mac OS - Mac HD:Library:Application Support:4D:
After you quit 4D, there will be a file in one of the locations above called persoXXXXX.dic, where the X's denote the dictionary's reference number. Open this file in a text editor and remove the unwanted words. Note that if you remove all of the contents, you will have reverted back to your default dictionary.
