Before you paste, import, or open a PICT image in 4D Draw, use the Set Preferences item of the 4D Draw Layout menu. This opens a dialog that includes a setting to "Open/Paste PICTs as" either "A Picture" or "Objects."
Choose "Objects" to ensure that if the source PICT graphic consisted of individual editable objects, the graphic will remain as individual editable objects when it is brought into 4D Draw. If you choose the other option, "A Picture," then when the PICT image is brought into 4D Draw, it will be a bitmapped graphic that cannot be ungrouped or edited.
