Tech Tip: Windows 4D Client on Macintosh
PRODUCT: 4D | VERSION: | PLATFORM:
Published On: July 23, 1999

A neat trick for cross platform development is to run both the Macintosh and Windows versions of 4D client simultaneously on a Macintosh computer. The Windows version of client can be run using an emulation program such as VirtualPC™. This way it is possible to switch between both clients by just switching windows instead of computers. In this situation, the Macintosh OS and the Windows OS will be assigned different IP addresses.
