PLEASE NOTE: This Tech Tip applies to 4D Web 2.0 Pack version 1.2

The 4D Ajax Framework 1.2 introduces a new parameter for the Data Matrix called "maxCharNumber". Previously the number of characters per field allowed when queried in a Data Matrix object was set at 40 characters. This limit is now under the Developer's control.

Use parameter "maxCharNumber" to specify the max number of characters allowed. The absolute maximum number of characters will be the same as the maximum size of a Text Field in 4D.
