When activating 4D Developer as an evaluation, instead of with a purchased license, there is a message saying that the product will run without limitations, but for a limited duration. In fact, there is one limitation, it is not possible to compile the code for a database while running with an evaluation license. Compiling requires a 4D Developer Professional license.
