Tech Tip: Reserved character codes in 4D v11 SQL
PRODUCT: 4D Developer | VERSION: 11 | PLATFORM: Mac & Win
Published On: September 4, 2008

In 4D v11 SQL, certain character codes are reserved and must never be included in text. These character codes are:
0
65534
65535

Using any of these characters in text can lead to unexpected results. For example, inserting Char(0) in a text field will truncate text that precedes it.
