4D v11 SQL Release 2 (11.2) allows you to use developer methods and 4D Commands (that return a value) on forms in a new way. You can create a form object variable and set its name equal to that of a Method. Each time any form event is triggered on that form the method will be executed and the return value will be updated at the location of the form object variable.
