Ajax stands for Asynchronous JavaScript and XML. 4D has made it easy for developers to take advantage of this technology with the release of the 4D AjaxFramework within the Web 2.0 Pack. This provides developers with a tool thatallows their customers to interact with the data in a rich web application. 4DAF is a constantly evolving product and is now approaching release 2 (11.2). Because 4D itself is a flexible product, 4DAF takes advantage of this by having the capability to be deployed on a 4D Client.
