If you have a client/server setup and wish to modify the password system, the Designer or Administrator may do so from either a Mac or PC client. However, when you try to open the passwords editor dialog you may get the following message:

The Password System is being edited by:
User: Manager
Workstation: 4D Inc.

If you get this message, you will not be able to edit the password system because it is currently open on another machine. Therefore, if you wish to make changes from a specific machine, find the workstation mentioned in the message and close the password editor dialog box.
