EXIF stands for 'Exchangeable image file format'. It is a specification for the image
file format used by digital cameras. The metadata tags can hold a broad range of
information, including but not limited to: date and time information, camera
settings such as shutter speed and ISO speed information, a thumbnail for use in
photo management software, and other descriptive and copyright information. This
Technical Note presents a 4D component to edit EXIF tags and includes a sample
database using the component.
