Tech Tip: 4D Pop Constants Migration component must run in single-user

The 4D Pop Constants Migration component does not allow you to migrate constants when used with 4D in Remote Mode (aka 4D Client). It only works when running the database from 4D in Local Mode (aka 4D single user).
As part of the migration process, the component must locate the plug-ins folder for the database and then create a plug-in. The "plugins" folder for the database is not visible to a client since it lives on the server.

The plugin created by this component can be moved from application to application so you can have a standard custom set of constants across all your applications.
