Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) is an XML specification and file format for describing two-dimensional vector graphics. The SVG specification is an open standard that has been under development by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) since 1999. SVG images, and their behaviours, are defined in XML text files. SVG files can be edited with any text editor, but specialist SVG development environments are also available. These offer a wide range of specialised and general-purpose features.

4D SVG in its current version has a number of additional features and advantages that makes it the ideal tool to replace the functionality of 4D Draw in any database.
The precision and control available in 4D SVG is well worth the conversion from 4D Draw to 4D SVG.
