In 4D v11 SQL, it is possible to open a structure file in the MSC without a data file. If you try to open a structure file with the MSC and there is no corresponding data file, then a Dialog will come up asking if you would like to choose a data file or to open without a data file, as shown here:



As the dialog mentions, certain features will be disabled. For example, if you go to the Verify tab, you will only be presented with the option to verify the application (not the records or indexes).
