Tech Tip: Force legacy IE7 web pages to render properly in IE8+

Microsoft Internet Explorer includes a meta tag that sets which version of rendering mode is used. If a web page is optimized to work in IE7 and doesn't render properly in IE8, this tag is a fast solution to keep the web site compatible in IE8:
