Exchange Web Services (EWS for short) enables applications to communicate with Exchange servers. EWS can be used by applications to perform a wide variety of tasks on the Exchange server. These tasks include creating, updating, deleting, and retrieving any of the following: folders, messages, contacts, calendar events, and so on. EWS can be used to perform almost any task that would be carried out by any other email client, such as Outlook.

This Technical Note covers how EWS can be used from within 4D v12. A sample database is also included, which carries out a few EWS functions.
