4D Server can have as many ODBC connections as there are 4D SQL Server and 4D Client Licenses.

Any application connecting to 4D Server via ODBC will use a 4D SQL Server license. If there are no more 4D SQL Server licenses, 4D will look for any available Client license and will then use it. Once all 4D SQL Server and 4D Client licenses have been used, 4D Server will deny access to any further ODBC client.
