When using the Activity Analysis option from the 4D Maintenance and Security Center (MSC) it is important to note that it is possible to open log files from other databases.

By using the "Browse..." button the developer is allowed to open another log file for either the current database or another database.

If you find yourself in a situation where you want to inspect the journal file but do not want to open your current database (perhaps due to the database asking you to select a new log file) you can always create a new database and then navigate to the MSC's Activity Analysis page and Browse to the journal file in question.

It is therefore important to keep the log file safe and secure if you have any type of sensitive data in it that should not be read by others.
