4D v12 introduced a powerful new feature called replication. Replication provides a system to transfer data from one 4D database to another. It handles transferring the data as well as managing the data. As with new features, there is a learning curve to replication and some development work to get up and running. This Technical Note is intended to help in both of these aspects. This Technical Note provides a tool whose goal is to: 1) be something that can be dropped in a database and used to quickly set up replication and 2) to help developers learn how to use replication.
