In the past, HTTP requests made from 4D required the use of external tools, such as 4D Internet Commands or cURL. For those unfamiliar with HTTP commands, trying to make HTTP requests from 4D could feel a little like drowning in a sea of unknown technology. The new HTTP Client commands in 4D v13 eliminate the hassle by making HTTP calls a native part of 4D. These new commands provide the life jacket developers have been waiting for to make HTTP requests easy and get web data into your 4D application.
