In previous versions of 4D (4D 2003 and earlier) pressing the arrow keys up and down on the keyboard would allow the end user to select a different user while the password field had focus; this is no longer the software standard behavior.

As of 4D 2004, if the entry focus is on the password the arrow keys do not change the selected user. The entry focus must be changed from the Password field to the List of Users prior to using the arrow keys for selecting a different user. Changing the entry focus can be accomplished either by using the Mouse to click into the List of Users or with the TAB key to tab between fields.

Once the correct user is selected you can press TAB again in order to change the focus back in to the Password field.
