When using the TEXT TO BLOB command without specifying a Text Format (3rd parameter) 4D will use "Mac C String" as the input format; it is important to note that when this format is used the command does not work with text greater than 32 KB.

It is therefore very important to always specify the text format when using this command; especially when working with large text variables.
