This Technical Note describes an advanced image cropping technique in 4D. It adds to the Cropping in 4D Technical Note published December 21, 2012. The discussion is around a technique of creating a “Cropping Tool” similar to one that is seen in many graphic applications. It will highlight the techniques that have to be used to have 4D preform cropping in a manner similar to popular graphics programs. A sample database is included to demonstrate how all this is possible using 4D forms and commands.
