This Technical Note describes how to integrate an entirely automated update process. The automatic update process reaches a new standard in 4D v14. With the new included updater application, it is now possible to update merged server and standalone applications completely. In other words the process can be entirely transparent for the user. It is no longer necessary to download, unzip, and copy the update manually.
