Starting from 4Dv14, QuickTime is no longer supported, however to allow developers to adjust and maintain the compatability when moving from an older version of 4D, the supporting codecs can be turned on using the SET DATABASE PARAMETER command as such:

SET DATABASE PARAMETER(QuickTime support;1)

The parameter is defaulted to 0, in which QuickTime is Disabled, and can be activated by setting the parameter to 1. A restart will be required after the command is called.
