Expressions have been used in 4D to represent variables, fields, data, and more. Starting with 4D version 14, expression can now be included inside of styled text variable. This tech note will introduce the reader to the use of expressions in 4D and its usage inside Styled Text Variables. It will explain what styled text and expressions are in 4D, and different ways of using it.
