My 4D development career began with the Silver surfer beta version of 4D, so I have been programming in 4D from the very beginning. In that time, I have attended more than twenty 4D Devcons/Summits, and I have given presentations at some of those conferences, and even one keynote speech. We come to these Summits to get technical information about 4D, but this year, my session is slightly technical but mostly non-technical. This year, I want to talk about some of the non-technical things that affect your success as a 4D developer. I want to share with you some of the things that I have learned in my 28-year 4D career through trial-and-error; things that have helped me to become more effective as a 4D developer, so I could work less and accomplish more.
