Interacting with a Web Area from within 4D has been made easy via various commands since v11 but interacting with 4D from the within the Web Area has not been so easy. Now in v14 there is a built in mechanism for calling 4D methods from the JavaScript code that is executing in a Web Area and to get values in return. This technical note covers the new mechanism added in 4D v14 and presents multiple approaches for specifying the callback methods.
