This technical note will provide a technique to build a user interface that allows users to have multiple records to open in separate tabs on a single window. This allows the records to be viewed without locking the records, tables or process. This implementation will provide a more convenient user workflow that allows users to keep multiple records open and ready for modification without locking the records up. This Technical Note is also accompanied with a sample database (4D v14R4 or above) that provides a sample of a user interface with the technique described in the Technical Note implemented.
