4Dv15 introduced new LDAP commands that allow the database to connect and search an LDAP server. By using the LDAP to access a distributed directory, credentials and information stored in the directory can be pulled based on the user and can then be used for an SSO feature in 4D. This provides many benefits in regards to password management. This technical note explains an implementation approach of a Single Sign On (SSO) using the new LDAP commands in 4D.
