While 4D Server is still fairly easy to administer, it’s important for developers to know that the settings and the development environment can better respond to user expectations, in terms of both performance and stability. We’ll introduce you to the 4D Info Report component, and we’ll introduce a concrete case to show how it can be implemented on your application server, as well as the monitoring parameters. We will then give a detailed rundown of the possibilities offered by integrating the component in your application:

• Obtaining metrics. (files, 4D Remote, Web, mobile)


• Manipulating graphics generated by these metrics.


• Deep analysis of metrics – How to interpret them and act upon your code.


• Set alert levels – New in version 5.

We’ll present real cases with an analysis of the results obtained, and we’ll see which modifications of 4D code were necessary.
