4D Mobile services relies on 4D web server to function. However, a 4D Mobile session has several key differences from a web session: it uses its own client license; existing web server commands do not work on 4D Mobile session.

4D V15R4 has added support to existing 4D Web commands and introduced a new command in order to offer better handling of 4D Mobile sessions. This tech note will introduce and demonstrate the new features added to 4D Web commands for 4D Mobile session handling. In addition, it will also provide a use case of 4D Mobile session handling to showcase how 4D developers can use these commands in conjunction with Wakanda in order to provide 4D Mobile session handling to Wakanda.
