Everyone has used a “Tasks” table at one time or another to execute delayed operations or to streamline processing. But as systems grow, that background “tasks” system can often bog down unexpectedly under load. This session will look at different ways to approach potential task handling, and some of the things to consider and act upon when you have a system that may need to scale significantly.
