4D v16 introduces a new feature to the verify function of the Maintenance and Security Center. The Verify function will now provide warnings if PICT format images are found in the database. The Logs now provides a new section which has been placed in the 6th section and shifting all the other sections by an increment of 1. This section is the Check Picture Library which will inform that depreciated pictures are found and their ID number and Name in the library.


Also other parts of the verification process will check if items are using any depreciated image formats and warn of these too:


While these are only warnings it is suggested that these files be converted to a more compatible format. The Repair and other functions of MSC will not automatically fix these issues and it will be required that the images be fixed manually.
