The 4D-ACME-Client (component) utilizes the Automated Certificate Management Environment (ACME) protocol to connect to the Let’s Encrypt Certificate Authority (CA) to obtain free Domain Validated (DV) Certificates for your SSL/TLS needs. These certificates allow the 4D Web Server to use TLS and will drastically improve site security and privacy when compared to not using TLS.

This is part 2 of a 2-part Tech Note:
  Part 1 focused on the basic implementation to get a certificate from Let’s Encrypt.
  Part 2 expands on that implementation and provides additional routines to help with renewing certificates.
