With 4D v16 and the move towards 64 bit, 4D Write will be replaced by 4D Write Pro and with it comes a number of new features. Some of these features and design choices by the 4D engineers and designers may not be the optimal choice for the end users of a deployed application. With this in mind, 4D allows developers to customize 4D Write Pro in a number of ways. This technical note will explore the different ways a users’ 4D Write Pro can be enhanced by allowing developers to tailor it to their needs. It is suggested that v16R4 be used with the sample database provided.
