Tech Tip: Displaying PDF in Web Area on Windows

On Windows, with the Web Kit based web rendering engine, PDFs would be opened in an external application based on the default application for .pdfs on the session. This is default behavior and documented on the 'Web Areas' documentation in the design reference.
With the Blink based Web Area PDFs can now be displayed and a better display consistency can be expected.
